In the last few years I have been privileged to help several male to female transgender clients. Biologically, it is reasonably easy to achieve an appropriate change in voice when transferring from female to male as hormone replacements will help adjust the pitch.
However, from male to female is much more difficult because the voice has already broken and that cannot be reversed. It is therefore necessary to learn how to move the pitch into a recognisably female range. This can be achieved with help from a voice coach and considerable practice by the client. A softening of tone will also help to make communication easier. You may find this video from one of my recent clients of interest:
Every client will have different requirements so do give me a call to discuss yours.
